Sweetgrass Smudge

Many Native tribes in North America use sweetgrass in prayer, smuding, or purifying ceremonies and consider it a sacred plant. It's usually braided, dried, and burned. Sweetgrass braids smolder and doesn't produce an open flame when burned.
