*ALL BASE SOAP INGREDIENTS CONTAIN: ORGANIC OLIVE OIL, ORGANIC SUSTAINABLE PALM OIL, ORGANIC COCONUT OIL, WATER, AND LYE.* Real soap is the result of a natural chemical process called saponification, in which an acid (the oils and butters) and a base or alkaline (sodium hydroxide- AKA lye) dissolved in a liquid, are brought together to form soap. (No lye is remaining after the saponification process.)*
If you tend to spend a lot of time outdoors in the smoke, dust and pollution, you might notice dirt settling over your pores, making them more noticeable and enlarged in appearance. Activated Charcoal soap has many beneficial properties. It not only extracts the dirt and grime, but also treats clogged pores and reduces their size. Geranium essential oil is nontoxic, nonirritant and generally non-sensitizing — and the therapeutic properties of include being an antidepressant, an antiseptic and wound-healing. Geranium oil may also be one of the best oils for such diverse dermatological problems as oily or congested skin, eczema, and dermatitis.
Orange essential oil can be an anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, and antibacterial. It is especially good for the skin. From teenagers with acne to dry, aging skin, it helps to eradicate bacteria, boosts collagen, decreases skin wrinkles, and protects against UV damage.
